Build Like a Girl 2019

Join Miron Construction’s Fourth Annual “Build Like A Girl” event on FRIDAY, JUNE 21, 2019! While women comprise a mere 9.9% of the construction industry nationally (and only 1% of field laborers), an evolving workplace equates to endless job opportunities and a strong salary for skilled craftspeople. As a way to educate and build female interest in the construction industry, Miron will be hosting a one-day, hands-on event geared specifically toward 7th-10th grade girls. Participants will learn more about the industry and try their hand at a few construction trades.
