ReConnect

The Re-Connect: Careers & Conversation events go from 1:00-3:00 pm at the Coralville Public Library (bottom floor)

We generally schedule 6-7 local employers from different sectors for each event. These employers participate on a panel and will each have the opportunity to talk about:

• Their industry and company, including values
• Positions they hire for and what they look for in candidates
• What they look for on resumes and whether there are big barriers

There are generally 25-50 job seekers that attend and would have an opportunity to ask questions.

We try to end the event with one-on-one or small group discussions between each employer and interested job seekers.
