Environment
Plan and design land areas for projects such as parks and other recreational facilities, airports, highways, hospitals, schools, land subdivisions, and commercial, industrial, and residential sites.
Having attractively designed gardens, parks, playgrounds, residential areas, campuses, and other public spaces are critical to communities both large and small. Landscape architects design these areas so that they’re not only functional but also beautiful as well. The landscapes that are created where we live, work and play can have a big impact on the overall health of a community. Landscape architects also plan and design the locations of buildings, roads, walkways, flowers, shrubs, and trees around these environments to make them suitable for living.
